and Steam & Gas Show, the Largest Lawnparty on the East Coast,
hosted by Bridgewater's own Volunteer Fire Company!
Come for food, music, parades, antiques car and tractor shows,
rides, fun and memories that will last all year!

Directions
- From Interstate 81, take Exit 240.
- Turn West on Friedens Church Road and travel about 1 mile.
- Continue through the traffic light onto Dinkel Avenue for 2.5 miles.
- Turn Right at the traffic light onto North Main Street.
- Immediately turn Left onto Green Street (oposite Fire Station).
- The Lawn Party will be about 0.2 miles on the right.
Parking attendants will assist you.

Schedule
The Lawn Party is scheduled the week preceeding the 3rd
Saturday in July. Below is a list of events schedule daily.

- Kids ride all-night for one price.
- Veterans get Chicken Dinner for free with an ID.
- Kids Peddal Pull @ 7:00 p.m., Weigh-In @ 6:00 p.m.

Participate
If you would like to participate in the lawn party or
volunteer to support any events or activities, below
are some of the ways you may do so.
Ham Sandwiches
The Ladies' Auxillary needs help making ham sandwiches
on the mornings of Tuesday through Friday (week of the
lawn party) in the front bay of the fire hall.
Cake Donations
The Ladies' Auxillary needs cake donations nightly Wednesday
through Saturday the week of the lawn party. Please bring
donated cakes to the fire hall.
Firefighter's Parade
You are invited to join the Bridgewater Volunteer Fire Company for
our Annual Firefighter's Parade! General information,

Annual Firefighter's Parade
Date and Times
The Firefighter's Parade is held on Friday the week of the Lawn Party.
This year the parade falls on July 18, 2008. The Parade will form at 6:00
p.m. and move promptly at 7:00 p.m.
Lineup
Lineup begins on the corner of
Main Street and Old River Road next to Marchalls. Marching groups
or anyone who walks the parade should meet across from Marchalls.

Rules
There will be no exceptions to these rules. Anyone violating the rules
will be ask to leave the parade and will not be asked to return in
future years. We want you and your audience to enjoy the parade, but
safety is our primary concern.
- Commercial entries are limited to one piece per business.
- Customized vehicles unless advertising are not permitted.
- Trailers are prohibited including construction trailers.
- Fire and Rescue entries are limited to two pieces of equipment.
- Fire and Rescue are not allowed to sound sirens and/or air horns.
- Throwing candy and/or other objects is prohibited but may be
distributed by hand.
- No one will be allowed to stop or slow down the parade to perform at any
time or in front of the judges.
- Organizations and horse entries must display a group name to be judged.
Awards
Prizes will be awarded at 9:00 p.m. on the Lawn Party grounds at the bandstand.
We will not mail or deliver prizes or trophies; you must be present to receive
any prizes. Majorette Group checks will be mailed within 7 to 10 days.

Rent the Lawn Party Grounds
The Lawn Party grounds is available for rent throughout the year for
horse shows and other events. Guidelines for the grounds use are
below.
Prices are as follows:
Day events: $175.00
Night events: $200.00
Day & Night events: $225.00
Private parties: $50.00
Use of gas grill: $25.00
Use of BBQ pit: $25.00
Refundable clean-up deposit: $75.00
Any group having a horse show event must have at minimum $1-million in
insurance liability.
Please mail a copy of the insurance certificate and your deposite a week before
the event to:
